Linton is located South West of Ballarat along the Glenelg Highway which takes you to iconic locations such as the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians. This small township has much to offer in a wonderful bush setting along the Ballarat to Skipton Rail Trail with the Clarkesdale Bird Sanctuary at the door step of this township. Linton is only a short drive to Ballarat's Delacombe Town Centre a suburb of Ballarat.
Our small vibrant community has lots to offer if you are visiting or a resident of the town with a local vibrant pub offering entertainment on the first Sunday of each month, second hand stores in the main street, a wonderful book shop, coffee shops and food available.
You can join our community or sporting groups such as the Linton and District Progress Association, Linton and District Historical Society, Linton's Play Reading Group, Senior Citizens Club. If you are interested in football, cricket or bowls these are some of our sporting clubs you can join. These are only a few of the groups.
